Classical Ballet Theatre received a recognition from the State of California.

Director of Classical Ballet Theatre, Kotomi Matsuda, and her students received a Certificate of Recognition from the State of California Senate, Ted Lieu, for their Sleeping Beauty performance on May 18, 2014, Palos Verdes Performing Arts in Rolling Hills Estates, California.  Currently, Ted Lieu is a congressman for California's 33rd district.

CBT education founder, faculty, former students, and director are honored to receive such encouraging awards from California Senator. This recognition has motivated us to continue teaching discipline, providing positive learning experiences and spectacular performance opportunities.

Director founded Classical Ballet Theatre with three students over ten years ago.

Faculty and director have dedicated themselves to sharing ideas, participating in school events, and developing a program from training to fine arts education.  

In 2021 Classical Ballet Theatre has established as CBT Academy and continued to inspire students to experience beautiful ballet, learn great classics, and express their uniqueness.  

Our mission is to enrich people’s lives. Every student is nurtured, proud of the culture, and achieves amazing dreams.
